    A classic Airgun story

Thanks for posting! Both are beautiful. Absolutely classic. My 250 was also equipped with sling studs. Such a capable rifle.

I’d love to see a pic of your walnut 45. I think the design/lines of the 45 are quite elegant. Im a huge fan of this undersung rifle.

    A classic Airgun story

I’ve only seen one picture of a walnut stocked D45 and it was on a high end gun auction site. I don’t hear much talk about the 45 so I’m guessing a walnut version is pretty rare. I have a Beeman 250 version of the 45 and it’s a very nice rifle and very accurate shooting in the 11-12 FPE arena...

    New Magnum Break Barrel

This is just my opinion and experience. You already have your magnum hunter in the 48. It is an excellent and capable rifle. I’ve owned and tuned and tweeked a 125 sniper and it was not for me! I gave it to my godson and never looked back. My 48 is in the neighborhood of 20 FPE. Yes the sniper...

    RWS TX200

Hi Lewis, I actually have a beech stock, lefty, MKlll. I’ve never thought about it but is the lefty beech that rare In MKlll? I never hear (read) anything about the tx200 SR (semi recoilles). What sort of mechanism achieves its “recoilles” status?

If you could only have one...

I believe the very question is rhetorical at best, and nonsensical at least. I’d no sooner own one pair of underwear than I’d own one lonely air rifle. The very thought is a travesty. It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.I’m officially...

    BSF 54 games

Wow! What an elegant looking bit of history! It’s in beautiful condition too with sharp checkering and the rear diopter looks sleek and proper, whether it is or not. Love it!

R7 San Raphael or Huntington Beach?

I was doing some experimentation with moving the break to different positions to see if acted a bit like a tuner. It’s out about as far as it can go and still have good attachment. The barrel is the same length as the original barrel. Plus, the picture looks a bit deceiving. I noticed it when I...

Any Regrets? (Airguns you wish you hadn’t sold)

That is nice! I too passed along a Hammerli master. im still not sure how I feel about letting it go. It was rebuilt and absolutely pristine. I still talk to the buyer. He loves it.

R7 San Raphael or Huntington Beach?

R7 Santa Rosa. Original.20 cal. Barrel in front but wearing a HW 30 .177 barrel. My first Quality air rifle. Only had the pleasure of shooting other peoples’ rifles. I actually had a Webley Tempest pistol I traded for this R7. Never got into pistols so I felt it was a great trade. The rifle had...

    Which springer for squirrel hunting?

Cold and windy at the range today. 25 yard groups were good and 50 was so difficult I just quit trying. Shots taken on an official ARA target. you can tell the 25 from the 50 yard cards.

    Which springer for squirrel hunting?

I just picked up a used D48 in .22 with a born on date of 2004. It is a T05 iteration. The internals were original and the grease was so old it was everywhere and flaking off like failed paint. I cleaned it up and installed a vortek full power kit with piston and breach seal. I’m right handed...

    Tx 200 hc

I have a standard TX 200 in .177 and I totally agree with the 12ish FPE suggestions. I’ve installed a Tony Leach 22mm kit in my 177 and love it. I also have a TX200 HC in .22. My feelings on this are to go as strong and smoothly as possible so I have a full power vortek kit in it and I like it...

Any Regrets? (Airguns you wish you hadn’t sold)

I’ve passed on a few good one for sure; Diana 54, Webley tracker walnut stock, HW97 K .20 cal, Feinwerkbau 102, crosman 6500 (Anschutz 335) but the one I regret the most was a Feinwerkbau 300s universal in perfect walnut left hand stock that I sold for a friend. I wanted that rifle so badly but...

Any Regrets? (Airguns you wish you hadn’t sold)

It is not often one truely feels twitterpated, it’s a magical feeling. I bet when you hunt with that rifle you feel like the prince of the forest and I bet it’s a real thumper. In all seriousness, that’s a great story with a fairy tale ending. 😉

    Diana 48/52 Bullpup

I’m not certain. I didn’t find much about the gentleman making them, only that he stopped to pursue custom knife making. I’d only be guessing but I assume it was too much work for the money he could command so he moved on to greener pastures.

    Diana 350 won't cock

Agreed. I just had a friends TX200 give him a fail to cock situation during a silhouette match. The bottom of the TbT spring guide broke.

    Classic break barrel spring rifles

Indeed it is a CG90. My only Co2. A fantastic rifle and even a lefty like me can shoot the righty stock.

    Classic break barrel spring rifles

I keep coming back to this thread just to look at the pics. Such beautiful rifles! I’ll add a break barrel highbred of sorts. Say what you want but it is a break barrel spring rifle. The Diana D65, or in this case a Winchester 333.
