Tuning New Huma regulator with a loose screw in the bag?

I recently ordered a new Huma Reg for my Taipan Mutant and it arrived with a very small allen head screw rolling around in the bag. I have sent two e-mails to Huma over the past month, neither has been replied to. Can anyone tell me if this screw belongs in the brass fitting end of the Reg - the...

    Tuning Leaking Mutant Shorty

Looking for a little advice here. I have a Tiapan Mutant Shorty that I just love. It's lights out accurate, super quiet, and just fun to shoot. It reciently started leaking and I just got around to taking it apart, hoping replacing a few O rings would fix it... it didn't. I'm 90% sure its the...

    Wildcat M2 VS Wildcat M3

Hi guys, I have a M2 Wildcat .22 that I love. It took some time and tinkering to make it the gun it is now. First off it came with one of the few ST barrels that would lead up and the accuracy would go out the window. AoA replaced the barrel and that problem went away, but then after a couple...

Huma regulator in a .22 Wildcat - Starting pressure setting

HI all, I know there has been a ton written about this, but I can seem to find the recommended pressure setting for a huma regulator. I have a new rHuma egulator from AOA that is currently set at 135. I was under the impression it should be set from 120-125. Anyone know. My hope is to get the...

Love my Gen 2 .22 Wildcat, but considring a Huma Regulator

I got to spend a few hours shooting my .22 Wildcat and .22 Tipan Mutant Shorty yesterday. What a hoot! Both guns put a smile on my face. The Wildcat has a regulator that was rebuilt by Ernest, is an awesome gun with consistant shot strings and great accuracy, but I have two issues with it: 1)...

    AirForce E-Pump 4500 psi Compressor?

I know this is brand new, introduced at the 2018 Shot Show, but I was curious if anyone had any information about it. https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/AirForce_E_Pump_Compressor_4500_PSI/8393 Scroll down for a review from B.B. Pelletier: SHOT Show 2018: Part 4...

Lead BB's shot from a springer to scare Canadian Geese

I just ordered a tin of H&N Rundkugel rould pellets to shoot out of my HW30S. My hope is that I will be albe to put 2-3 of these in the barrel at one time so that they shoot slower than the 630 fps my HW30s shoots JSB 8.4 pellets at. I just want to whack the geese, not poke holes in them...

    Sold! WTS SWFA 12X42 Mil-Quad 30mm scope

I have a SWFA 12X42 Mil-Quad that is in need of a new home. This scope is in new condition, is less than a year old, and only lived on my Wildcat for a few months. The scope comes with really nice Butler Creek Lens Caps and a Nylon Coaster focusing handle (see amazon link below), and in the...

Athlon Midas BTR 2.5-15X50 - Love it!

Just put a Athlon Midas 2.5-15X50 on my .22 Wildcat and it is the ticket!. Just love this scope! I had a SWFA 12X42 on the gun, which I also really like, but I really wanted the option of an illuminated reticule. The slightly thicker crosshairs of the Midas reticule are also a big help for my 60...

    Photo posting help

It's been a while since I used Photobucket and the last time I tried to post photos the links didn't work, now I see that they are charging to post to 3rd party sites. What are the rest of you doing to post photos these days..... or am I just missing something at Photobucket. Thanks!!!

Love my Swfa 12x42 MOA, but....

This is a really great scope - light weight, sharp, and I really love the rear focus, but the reticle is so fine that is often hard to find the correct crosshair aimpoint aim when shooting against a dark background. When shooting paper, or brightly illuminated targets, I love the reticle. The...

    Missing meat mystory:-)

I was up at our family vacation cabin on Saturday to do some clearing and had I set up my Mutant Shorty in an upstairs bedroom incase the starlings came around. After a long day I came in and sat down for a bit, then noticed a starling out by our garden. By the time I got up to my hide, he was...

    Bipods

I know this subject has been discussed to death at times, but just curious if anyone has a new favorite bipod. Light weight, functional... and reasonably priced, is the chriteria. This bipod would go on a recently purchased Mutant Shorty. I own an Atlas, and so could just put a picitinny rail on...

Got another question... teathering a regulated PCP?

I love shooting my .22 Brocock XL S6, which is unregulated, off my 80 cuft scuba tank once the tanks pressure has dropped below 2900 psi, the max fill pressure for the Brocock. It's like having a 80 cuft bottle gun:-) My question is - Would it be Ok to shoot my .22 Wildcat while teathered to a...

    .22 Wildcat velosity question

I have a new'ish .22 Wildcat that I have adjusted to shoot at an average of 885 fps with JSB 18's. In years past it seamed that the standard advice was to keep the volicity below 900 fps with JSB 18's for better accuracy, but lately I have seen people tuning their (various) PCP's to shoot over...

Feedback Chuck - Holy Grail of scopes

I just noticed this catigory on Airgun Nation and realized I was way late to give a shout-out to CHUCK, the author of http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/holy-grail-of-airgun-scopes/ CHUCK offered to send me an extra lens shade for the Athlon Argos 6-24 FFP scope that he had. Not only did...
