    First outing with HW77K

Mine is a .177 and it works nicely with JSB Exacts but for close range Superdomes are actually very good in mine though not really for more than 50m because of the BC. Nice groups!

    Weihrauch HW77K Special Edition .177

https://imgur.com/yCMMOH8 You'll like it for sure. Mine Likes JSB Exacts the most but H&Ns work well too. Like @oldmanblue said it's a bit twangy but nothing serious. I bought a Vortek Kit after my spring broke (after about 13.000 shots) just to see the difference. The twang is now a thump but...

Steyr Hunting 5 - New model coming or just a coincidence?

I would imagine that they aren't selling well compared to the auto version. The price is about the same for the regular or auto version so except the complexity I don't see why anyone would take the repeating version. I'm asking this since I saw an auto 5 scout for sale at about 1.600 EUR...

Steyr Hunting 5 - New model coming or just a coincidence?

My local dealers are all selling Steyr Hunting 5's discounted. Took a peek at Krale and they are also selling it for a lower price. Does this mean that there is a new model coming? Do you guys have any insider chit chat or is this just a coincidence?

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

Hey guys I got the barrel back from LW. They didn't say much except that the barrel will be fixed by polishing the marks. As soon as I received the barrel I gave it a good clean. From what I can see the marks are gone along with the accuracy I saw before. Keep in mind I only tried JSB Jumbo...

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

Update: LW has requested to inspect the barrel.

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

Thank you for the information. I remember when I was choosing my first PCP and looking to buy a HW100 I saw some pictures of a barrel with much more subtle scratches in the same area and people were saying its a defect. I posted this to see if this is something that I was expected to deal with...

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

I’m on mobile so I don’t know how well it can be seen but here is a closeup of what I’m trying to show. There are these thread like marks inside. This is the best I could see and I don’t know if they go all the way through. Later tonight I’ll try to get a better picture and lighting. The...

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

Yes I did but it the groups were never great to begin with. Gathering lol that made me chuckle :D Was there an old batch that had this problem? I bought it in November 2017.

Lothar Walther - is this normal?

Hi everyone! Some time ago I bought a Lothar Walther 5,5mm polygonal barrel blank to try it on my Steyr LG110 since my original barrel requires frequent cleaning. After machining it and giving it a good clean I want straight to the range to see what happens. The first 5 shots were perfect...

Daystate Wolverine "R" - First Impressions / Shots on Target / Pics

Well I'm not trying to say they charge a premium because the features are nice if you want them for the money you are paying. It's just that maybe for a lot of the people who bought the Crown recently it's their first higher end rifle and of course they really enjoy them, it's a step up - and...

Daystate Wolverine "R" - First Impressions / Shots on Target / Pics

Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience in detail! Just like you, whenever I get something in hand I automatically start looking for details - good or bad. Probably a job deformation but hey, I want to see where my money goes. Reading post after post how the Crown is so...

Daystate Wolverine "R" - First Impressions / Shots on Target / Pics

I have my eyes on a couple of rifles including the Crown and Red Wolf. What was so underwhelming about the Crown? I'm very interested in your experience especially since you've owned both brands. Nice shooting too!

    Any body else does this?

[S] [S] I just bought an old Anschutz 64 with diopter sights which I don't intend to use so I've put them on my LG110. It's a totally different rifle without a scope, so light and slick. The sight radius is not optimal but I think I have a solution. I can't wait to try it out and compare it to...

Rear Aperture Sight for a Beeman R1?

I was thinking about getting one too, since somebody else was asking about aperture sights here not long ago, but what about the front sight? I have a HW77 which doesn't have a dovetail under the front blade just a rectangular post. Does HW sell adapters or something similar?

    Rear peep sights?

I'm not sure for the HW95, but when I was looking at peep sights for my HW77 this came up often WILLIAMS FP-AG https://williamsgunsight.com/product/williams-fp-ag/embed/#?secret=pa3mj6jWXm There is also target knob variant which it adjustable without tools.

    New Daystate Red Wolf

You said it yourself. Equipped with a side lever and a HUMA regulator for 2018, plus the same nice stock and Hugget moderator. It's nothing new.

    New Daystate Red Wolf

I'm a bit conflicted now. Don't like the stock on the Red Wolf, but I'd really like to have one with a Heliborad for some serious adjustability. On the other hand I like the stock on the Wolverine R, but the features that it has are standard on other high end guns for years.
