I agree with this 110%. They both shoot great, but the 44 edge themy out, just barely. If the energy is needed, don't hesitate to use the 50gr.

Find your local scuba/dive shop and they should be able to fill no problem. My local shop (ca) charges $8 for a 4500psi fill and $5 for a 3000psi fill.

I never paid much attention before, but realized the 50.1gr pellet is closer in skirt shape to the 33.95gr. Giving me the belief that the bc will be better than that of the 44gr which is much like the 25gr. Has this pellet always had this shape or is this new?

Mostly you want to be within .010 for your pellets. I'm crazy and go down to .005. Also, you can shoot all the pellets. Just re-zero for your new weight range and all those in that range should be on target.

I just read that the barrels will be selling for $99. That is great! Should give people great opportunity to try out different barrels and find which they like best for their favorite pellet brand.

By how much speed you lost by turning the power adjuster down one setting it seems as if your hammer spring adjuster screw backed out. Have you checked it to see? 

Why would any fill pressure above that of the regulator matter on a regulated gun? When on a chrony, it still shoots consistent speed regardless of how high you fill the bottle.

I don't have a royale, but I have an ST barrel and it like AA 18 & 16 just as much, if not more than it likes JSB 18.

Anyone have a tool they use or know of one that you can shape the skirt of the pellet? Trying to make sure all my pellet skirts are the same and as round as possible.
