    Mil/MoA vs Mil/Mil vs MoA/MoA

Michael, This drives me crazy too! I run mil-mil. I just wish there was a good, cheap, FFP, mil-mil scope... oh well I can dream...

    Wadcutter for FX Impact .177

At least I'm not the only one with Smooth Twist that doesn't like wadcutters... Polymags- Too rich for my blood... Plus the length doesn't always play nice with the Impact magazine from what I've heard. H&N Crow Magnums- I'll have to give them a try... I was afraid that the ST barrel and...

    Wadcutter for FX Impact .177

Has anyone found a .177 wadcutter that the FX Impact likes? If so at what velocity? The best I've found from my testing is the RWS Supermag and even then I've only been able to get my groups down to 1.5 cm at 20 meters. (For comparison JSB Exact 10.34 are giving me one hole groups at that...

FX Impact magazine won't advance pellets

Oops... I gave some incorrect advice! The small alan bolt is the one on the all metal side and the large one is on the clear plastic side. To add a bit more clarification regarding the actual adjustment. With both alan wrenches in place loosen the large one half a turn then you can unscrew...

FX Impact magazine won't advance pellets

Shawn, I've disassembled my Impact .177 & .30 cal magazines to clean and lube them. They are actually pretty easy to get apart and put back together... Here is a link that covers it... (thank you Esting Rowe) I recommend only putting 2 turns on the spring when reassembling. This reduces...

    FX Impact Valve Control Knob

I won't beat a dead horse about what the adjusters do, (that's already been well stated above) however because I'm a total geek and regularly switch between .177 and .30 I'm always adjusting both the power wheel and valve limiter. I've also tested reg adjustment in 10(ish) bar steps from 100-143...

A warning for Leshiy owners (Graphic)

Ouch!... However from a detached and scientific view, that is a fantastic example of the effects of a high powered airgun on living tissue including bone... I'm not going to volunteer to be a guinea pig but your sacrafice has lessons to learn and data to process... That clearly would be...

A question for guys that use pumps

No problem... It only gets tough for me when the temp is 40+ (105F+) even then it's not hard but keeping the dripping sweat off the gun/pump can be a challenge... I'm 150 lbs and use the FX 4 stage filling a 480cc bottle from 125 bar to 250 bar. I only switch to the 4th stage at 200(ish) bar...

How are you filling your PCP for 230 bar

FX 4 stage pump... To 250 bar. Yeah, it's a workout, but I do also ride a bike to get around so I'm not afraid of a bit of sweat...

    Target backstop help

Can't post photos for some reason. Hopefully the links that I added work. These are the portable one. The garden wall one will just have to wait because it's dark out...

    Target backstop help

I use diy AR500 pellet traps... Can stop a big bore without breaking a sweat. Frankly they could stop most powder burners! I built mine so that I have 1 portable and 1 in my 2' thick adobe garden wall. They also let me catch the lead so I can melt it down and cast more pellets... The design is...

    FX Impact LDC/Moderator Options?

Hi, I just received my new FX Impact .30... I'd much rather have the telescoping version! Heck, I'd be happy to trade. (Seriously) The "why" of it is that .30 cal simply isn't backyard friendly. I'm sure is is possible to make the gun quiet enough but there is still a whole lot of lead...

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Hi, The name is Cactus, and yes I live in southern Arizona... I've always enjoyed plinking with airguns for as long as I can remember, but only recently made the leap from plinkers and powder burners to PCP... Cheers, Cactus
