    Gamo Never again

Very Interesting Thread. I've been a Gamo watcher but never a buyer.

    HW/Weihrauch .20 Caliber

FWIW - I owned a Beeman R10 in .20. It wasn't any better or worse shooting than my other springers in .177 or .22. I think Beeman promoted .20 heavily because RWS Diana (his main competitor) didn't offer guns in .20. Of course, I can't prove that. I've also owned several Sheridans that...

Benjamin P-Mag leak: could it be this simple?

I had a Benj Maximus with a slow leak. Put teflon tape on the gauge threads and no more leak. Also have a P-rod but it doesn't leak at all.

    N/A Springer vs Pumper

Interesting thread. I've had many springers (HW30, HW50s, Beeman C1, Beeman R10, RWS 24, RWS 34) and only 2 pumpers (Sheridan Blue Streak and Silver Streak). Also, almost all of my shooting is without a rest. In the 80's and 90's I went down the rabbit hole with springers. I bought into the...

    70s bbgun fun

One day with my 760 pumper I was joking around and making this kid on the block "dance" like in the Westerns. I missed the ground and hit his foot. BB went thru his sock and into his flesh. I had to squeeze it out like a zit. Ran into the house and got some iso alcohol to prevent infection...

Do I really need any more airguns....because i keep wanting to buy another & my wife's had enough??

I know I have too many when some of them start to collect dust and I use them only out of obligation. That's when I thin the herd.

Crosman Thought id share my 1966 Powermaster 760

That was a rugged gun and not a toy. I liked that they could shoot bb's or pellets. They were pretty accurate and hit hard. Great gun! The big brother was a crosman 140. Serious stuff. The older (HS) kids owned those.

Thanks for sharing. Had one exactly like that one. Even got it for Christmas in '66. (y)

    How quiet is it really?

Yes, but this shows that a moderated firearm can be as quiet as a moderated ag. I did not know that.

    How quiet is it really?

I'm fascinated that a firearm can be as quiet as a moderated airgun. Anyone else?

    Other Most underrated design/feature?

Great! I just saw a review on that rifle. Impressive! It fires JSB 8.4's at 900fps with good accuracy.

    Other Most underrated design/feature?

The recoiless springer was pretty nice. I'm surprised advances haven't been made on that front (especially in terms of weight). With the # of springers still sold, it might be profitable.

    Music to shoot by?

Just kidding. No music when I'm shooting. Just the sounds of nature.

Agree. And it was only 60F outside. Pretty impressive and it's smooth firing.

Other Best shipping method for a heavy springer?

That's right. Our UPS Store doesn't ship airguns.

Other Best shipping method for a heavy springer?

Our UPS Store will not ship airguns. They always ask what's in the box. I say sporting goods. They say what specifically. I say air gun. They say no, or they make a phone call then say no. Having them pick it up is a good idea. That or I'll just keep using USPS.
