It was my thread. And while the situation sucked, AoA went above and beyond in correcting the situation, and they did it very quickly. The upgraded set screw is said to be 10x stronger than the original.

Just FYI, I bought an atlas bipod knock-off for my Impact .30 cal on Amazon.com for $60 that has worked flawlessly. A friend of mine has an atlas bipod as well as the knock-off and wishes he just bought the knock-off. The fit and function of both are very close to identical. Just a thought.
