You can use one filter. Filled my SCBA 45 minute tank from 3200 psi to 4000 psi in less than 1/2 hour. There is a auto-shutoff feature after 1/2 hour run time for cool off. It reached 4000 psi before the auto shutoff kicked in. Next fill, I will time. Temperature never got above 54 degree Celsius.
