No its disconnected from any air source but the gauge reads 2 Mpa (275 psi) first stage. I thinking this is normal but I'm going to check with Altaros. Altaros said that is normal depending on where the piston stops at shutoff kind of what I thought. Very nice unit other then the wall wart kind...
Does the middle pressure gauge suppose to hold pressure after use? I see it held over night and don't see a bleeder valve for it like on the output side.
OK it looks like a SCBA cylinder it the way to go. What suggestions do you guy's have in selecting a good one that will last for years? Valve replacement seems to be recommended.
I think a springer would be better suited do to it's self contained system. You knead a PCP pump at minimum if a zombie takes it you loose a major part of the system.
Thinking about this more I think someone did a review of a rifle with rear bottle like this one. There opinion is the bottle is in the way for a good cheek weld.
Any suggestions on a alternative or covering for a first layer before it hits the horse stall mats? It seems like a good option for me maybe 1/4 plywood covering?
What size are you looking for dimensions of the project would help barrel work? Will you need to work on a complete rifle? Look here. https://eisenm.com/ or https://www.precisionmatthews.com/
If zeroed at 100yds what would you think the holdover should be? I tried shooting at 200yds with no luck I could hear the pellet hitting the plywood target hanger but no luck hitting target. I'm shooting a M3 in 25cal with JSB exact king 25.39gr.
