I threw a 16x SWFA on my LGU as a temporary thing, but its still there, so I guess it's staying. I thought it would be too much for offhand, but the rifle is heavy enough to steady out. 

With $500 to spend and wanting a .22? I can say what I did. I bought a Walther LGU from Airguns of Arizona and couldn't be happier with it. The .22 caliber only is on special right now for $389, which is a steal. Everywhere else I looked had them in the $550-575 range. ...


I got a 2240 a couple of weeks ago and am liking it. It shoots well, and a s pretty easy on CO2- I get 50 shots or so from a cartridge. It reminds me of a solid 1950s airgun. I guess in a way it is, since it's based on a model from years and years ago. As he said, its easily modified...

Oh yeah. I lived and worked in Louisiana for about a year. Hard work for low pay in extremly hot and humid weather. I think I still have nightmares. I sure do miss the food, though!
