A 4500 psi tank is hydro tested to 7500 psi. That’s a pretty good safety factor. I fill my expired ones to around 4000 psi. Your milage may vary.

I use the old school .22 rim fire traps. Easy to reclaim the pellets, stops my 90 Ft/lbs .30 cal at 20 Ft. Worked for me the last 25 years.

I have used the "less expensive" gauges several times with great success. I purchased a couple from China that wound up being way more accurate than my FX gauges that were on my Impact.

One the few new air guns I have bought was a TX200 MK1. I shot over 2K pellets through it thinking it couldn't get any better. I sent it to JM for a tune and he found a loose barrel nut among other issues. When it came back, I was amazed at the improvement!! Now days I tune all of my own guns...

Extremely easy to reseal with the exception of the "quad" ring in the valve cap. It just takes a little patience, I have a few I can send you. The rest of the seals are just hardware store stock

I have had over 10 gages fail. I keep a spare or two. The Burdon tube is constantly in motion when you shoot/fill the gun. the flexing eventually makes them leak.
