I can wish can't I? An impact is 7lbs. Yes I get this has a bigger bottle but its not that much bigger (~10%). Also I realize weight distribution will also determine how it handles.

Looks great. Only concern - weight. 7.7 pounds isn't the worst but 6.5 pounds would be a lot better.

Love the look of the edgun over the Veteran but seems like the Veteran has a just such a solid record that it is a no brainer. So for me I'd go for the veteran and take the $500 savings. Other than looks the only thing the edgun has over the veteran is the side cocking lever vs the rear...

I took a look at the website and its a sweet looking stock - but in the specs it said just 16Joules - I know that is the limit in some countries but can't imagine an .25 at only 12fpe. Maybe they'll sell the stock? Are CZ barrels proven to be better than LW?

Thank you that is great info. So any thoughts on veteran long .25 vs a powertuned cricket .25? Seems like both have same accuracy. Everything else being equal I'd pick the lighter of the two and the one that has most of the weight more towards me.
