    Deer hunting in Missouri

I'm in the St. Louis area. I love to airgun hunt but I don't have an airgun capable of taking deer with. My son did take a nice doe with the .243 this year. Good luck out there! Your fellow airgun and deer hunters are rooting for you! moairgunner I could use some of those rabbits. My kids and I...

Safe time of year for rabbit harvesting

I usually try to take my first rabbits of the year as soon as the season opens. It opens October 1st here. Freezes don't generally happen nearly that early here. As others have said and as with any animal you should check the health. I think time of year is MUCH less important than animals...

Wow! Takes a lot of skill and practice to pull off a shot like that. Gotta know your distance and your equipment.

Review of the AmericanAirArms .357 Slayer BullPup

I must agree with the gauge on the end of the tube. That would freak me out a bit. I am not a fan of looking down the barrel of a gun. Other than that sounds like an awesome gun!!

PA just took $800 from Me!

Yes they are thieves. I found that I have to stay away from their site or stuff just shows up in the mail and they steal my money. That's what I tell the wife at least :)

    Squirrel Season in Missouri

Good shooting. I usually use the jsb 18.1g pellets. They shoot straight and hit plenty hard for my shooting.

First issue Benji trail is junk. What to do?

I have an older Crosman Titan in .22. Very similar to the Benji trail just no barrel shroud and a dovetail rather than a weaver mount. I love mine and have shout many thousands of pellets out of it. I find if I have not shot it in a long time it takes a bit for me to get back in the groove but...

    What caliber?

For a disco or most pcp's I feel that a .22 is a great choice. About the only .177 I would choose would be in a pumper or a low powered springer. Other than that I find that .22 is about the best choice for hunting.

    760 pumpmaster

I had one too. I loved that gun as a kid. I don't know how many critters fell to that little rifle. Man those were good times!

    Dang, his head popped!

Was there a grassy knoll involved? Excellent shot as always. You really cleared his mind for him!

Missouri squirrel season off to a good start. For my son that is!

Squirrel season opened Saturday in Missouri. Today my son took his first of the season. He took this squirrel at 51 yards with my Benjamin discovery in .22. I handed him his crosman m4-177 for a follow up if needed. No follow up needed. One shot kill at 51 yards. Today is his birthday also, what...

Washington and St. Peter's are both nice areas. I like the small town feel of Washington. Good luck out there this squirrel season!

    Squirrel Season in Missouri

Yep, I'm excited as well. I use a crosman Titan in .22, and a Benjamin disco in .22 for most of my squirreling. But I use everything from a walther falcon hunter in .25 to a 1377 from time to time. I like to mix it up. My youngest uses a crosman custom shop 2400kt in .22 and my oldest uses a...
