Nothing more satisfying then shooting rats! So much fun!

    Rats!

That’s what I love about mine. They just slowly walk around with the birds on the ground. No quick movements. So easy to get a well placed shot. One day I saw one next to a rabbit eating. Scared the rabbit when his buddy got whacked! :)

I’m hoping my diana48 in 22 cal can kill one with a well placed shot.

    Losing the squirrel war ...

I can tell my shooting is thinning them out but if I give it a rest they return fairly quick. There everywhere. Which I guess is good as there so fun to shoot. :)

    Rats!

Just got a morning rat under my shooting station. Threw him over the fence for the foxes to enjoy. Great way to start the day. Was watching birds and sipping coffee. Noticed him and quietly loaded my 97k. I have a standing rest bolted to my brick garage wall. Allows steady shot placement. Works...

    Yellow Gray squirrel?

Could be a smoker. :) I just got another classic grey 10 minutes ago. Sitting on my bird feeder. Looking directly at me. Jsb in 177 between the eyes at 25 yards from the 97k. Rolled straight over dead. Love a accurate gun! :)

Are hollow point pellets really needed?

I don’t think pellet type matters as much as accuracy. If it’s a well placed shot most pellets workroom pretty good. I use round Diablo type

What is a pest to you?

Grey squirrels, starlings, rats for sure! Sometimes house sparrows. If I see a ground hog he gets lined up. Don’t see too many though. I love snakes so they get a pass.

    Rats!

I don’t have many rats but when I see one under my 25 yard shooting range my trusty hw97k sorts it out. At that range a 177 well placed is plenty. :)

    Rats had a bad day

Nice shooting! Just got one at the base of my backyard range as well. Only25yrds with the hw97k. Jsb lights out! It’s my shooting range plus bird feeders so it attracts critters sometimes. :) he was eating right next to a rabbit. I like them. Made sure to miss the bunny and whack the little rat...

Scope mount - one vs. two piece for TX200?

i use a 1 piece on my 97k but a quality 2 piece sportsmatch would work too i bet.
