I made one similar a few years back. I used composite deck board for the top and seats, treated lumber for everything else. After sitting in the sun and snow for years it still looks new. It's the one in my profile pic.

How did the matte finish handle the rain? I'm sure the inserts helped keep a good grip while running for the car. So far it looks like that will be a fine hunting rifle, easy to handle, plenty of power and no shiny finish to reflect light or scratch up.

Daisy pellets work decently in 3 of my guns, one of them a Daisy, the others a Wildfire and a P17. Just the other day I was walking a soda can with the P17 and Daisy HPs out past 25 yards and a soda bottle with my Daisy 131 using the open sights offhand past 30 yards. I suck at shooting...


correct. A cylinder must pass a visual inspection before any other testing is performed. If the tester decodes it fails visual inspection, the cylinder is Condemned right then with no further testing required.

Yep, from the pics it looks like that tank is done for. The "bubble" appears to be larger than 1 inch and some of the fibers are broken.
