    Delay Circuit for compressor

I did on my Air Charger. The unit came with two switches, as I recall, one for compressor motor and one for coolant pump. When I was done pumping air I would turn of the compressor switch and mounted to my joist overhead I had an electrical box with a rotary timer and a three position...

    I ask why?

As many have mentioned, it’s what America does. About 20 years ago I was rebuilding a Wheel Horse garden tractor. Its Kohler engine had thrown a rod. I was at the local dealer getting some parts and was looking at the current model. I said to the dealer “I see the latest model, which is the...

    GX CS3 Hack

To add to my post #4, today I just happen to wrap up my latest Anderson Powerpole conversion to make my generator more user friendly. I generally start my electric start dual fuel Firman generator every couple months but got distracted this year and when I went to start it the battery only got...

I have used Anderson Powerpole connectors on several home and work projects. They are of the highest quality. I have attached a link from a Google search of Anderson power pole products. Nice job on your adaptation for your compressor...

    Makin chips

Many years ago in the job shop I worked in, we had a job for an aircraft manufacturer that was magnesium. I saved the chips. At our after hours Christmas party that year, after the owner went home, I took a 5 gallon pail of chips in the parking lot and squirted a good dose of acetone in the...

Mike, I have not seen that fitting in the OP either. Curious who the manufacturer is.

*****Moved from General Discussion Forum*****Anyone know where to find these air line fittings??

I used to use 1/8” fittings on my scuba flow bench. I am assuming your booster goes to at least 4,500 to maybe 5,000 psi. Go McMaster Carr and search 1/8” Yor-Lok fittings. You will find 1/8 tube to 1/8” NPT fittings. They are rated for 6,000psi for stainless and 6,800 for steel. Considering...

*****Moved from General Discussion Forum*****Anyone know where to find these air line fittings??

The OP’s parts are not the Swagelok VCR fitting. I welded hundreds of VCR fitting to tubing with an orbital welders when I worked at Swagelok. The VCR is a very unique fitting that entails using two VCR’s facing each other but with a metal gasket between the faces. It is also a very costly fitting.

    Compressor Safety

In three years here on AGN IIRC, there was a Leshy tank on a gun that exploded, details were sketchy as I recall. And there may have been another gun tube cylinder that experienced a “rapid disassembly, again, sketchy info. A friend that owns a dive shop in New York had a paintballers carbon...

Trying to research and understand which types of filters are preferred and where best to install them on a new airgun compressor.

Some folks will say that they run their home compressor in the basement of an air-conditioned house. Even with air conditioning, the humidity is between 30% and 50%. Air coming out of a molecular sieve will be .1% and most likely less than that. The dryer your air, the better, that’s why some...

    Underwater leak test, DON'T!

A lot of people think black oxide or gun bluing is a rust preventer. For all practical purposes it’s an indoor coating. But even indoors both can rust. A light coating of a rust preventive and low humidity is key. Nice work on the restoration.

Trying to research and understand which types of filters are preferred and where best to install them on a new airgun compressor.

And be advised, forum members have there own opinions and empirical results/proof of what works for them. How much moisture you need to deal with can dictate the type of filtration. A guy in Florida and a guy in Arizona deal with vastly different humidity levels. But having maintained a scuba...

whats the best way to make a dope card for my particular PCP gun and my ammo ?

I 100% rely on empirical (DOPE) data from going to the range and shooting in 5 yard increments. Time consuming? Absolutely. But it’s full proof.

    Electronic bubble levels

You would think by now with all the extras they add on to scopes, like Sig Sauer scopes for example, that a level could be built into a scope.

    My First Rifle, Predator Control

My first PCP was a .25 Marauder in a plastic stock. I eventually went the FX route buying half a dozen different models and three or four other high end models. Eventually sold them all and went back to .22LR. In retrospect to that journey, I really could have totally gotten by with the original...
