Hep. Yep I know what you mean, I got one of the first Mutant 22 and it was shooting a little slower than I liked, Mid to high 700 FPS , The newer ones have a longer barrel, Same size gun just longer barrel and shoot close to the 900 fps bracket, I have a Cricket 22 shooting at around 940 FPS...
