I know curiosity killed the cat, but "what is the rest of the DonnyFL story?

I have followed the thread in November 22, At which time Michael cut it off on the 11th. It was only speculation. Nobody either did not know or would not speak. Since that time Donny was shut down, he has since reopened and his website is now turned back on, but he is no longer selling...

A little help needed removing a very difficult to remove O Ring

I have a late model FX Crown that has a leaking O ring. It is item D29 in the FX Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) on their website. Part number 19790. It is deep in the hole in the receiver for the pressure regulator. I own many various O ring tools and none will sufficiently grip the old O...

Name help needed to do a search

When using high pressure BSPP fittings either bottom or top seals are needed. If on top, the fitting will have a flange under which a sealing ring or washer is often used, They can be soft copper, teflon , aluminum or a Dowty seal. Some other BSPP threads seal in the threaded hole like for...

This is a Safety issue alert

I have a FX Crown and I have noticed some fill whips disengage violently during an air bottle refill. (very exciting). I kept blaming the Foster fitting, but that was not the fault. It is the stock that interferes with the outer shell of the female Foster fitting on the fill whip from completely...

Interesting tale of an ACECARE CF 12 Liter bottle

In Feb. this year I ordered and paid Aliexpress for an ACECARE 12 L bottle. Well, it did not ship. I kept waiting and waiting and then sent messages to ask why it had not shipped. They said they dad sold the last one and no more were in stock. I asked when they would again be available. They...

What is the best way to acquire replacement parts for Snowpeak products

The big attraction for these guns is of course cost. They also shoot very well when there are are no faults, but quality control has often been poor. I can live with the QC issue if replacement parts were promptly available, but it appears these parts are not available at all. Does anyone know...

Looking for owner experience with the Snowpeak PP20 10 meter pistol

I'm looking for your experience of fit and finish, did you experience air leaks, shot count per fill, ease of loading, performance and accuracy. I have seen no reviews of this pistol and as a very satisfied owner of a PP700SA, I find this pistol interesting. It has fully adjustable open sights...

DonnyFL Koi moderator on a PP700SA

For many years I have made my own moderators not because I particularly like to make them, but because of all the controls and associated stigma that goes with them. I got pretty good at making them as well. Over the weekend I got tired of listening to the bang the PP700SA makes and it also...

Tuning PP700SA unable to hold air charge at 200 bar

This is a weird problem. When I charge the gun to 200 bar, I can hear a small air leak, but it only leaks until the gauge pressure reaches 160 bar., then it stops. I can then shoot about 25 rounds until the gauge falls into the yellow and I am off the regulator. I cannot find the leak. It will...

    P700-SA Pistol sight experience

I have read so many threads on sights for the P700-SA pistol. I found it hard to choose what really worked and what did not. The original iron sights are useless because there is no vertical adjustment and the pellet trajectory is slow and loopy. My pistol is in .22 and it shoots just fine and...

Just received my STX Superior smooth twist heavy 600mm .25 cal liner

I ordered this from Krale. It was packed superbly with very good speed of delivery. It has a 1 in 17 inch twist and has a label from FX on the liner identifying as such. I have done nothing with it yet, but I will measure it for bore diameter and choke, if any and get back to you on this thread.

Follow-up to the FX Crown session to session POI shift issue

There are previous threads on this subject and several folks have this problem. These guns are very accurate, but the POI does move around from time to time reported by several people. I believed that the issue was the fact that the barrel & shroud is only supported at the receiver and the if...

FX Crown owners please read, loss of zero session to session

This subject has been addressed here several times. The last thread not so long ago, but I could not find it. This is not an accuracy issue. These Crowns are very accurate, but they do not like traveling. I have suffered POI change from session to session. Forcing me to always test the POI every...

    FX Crown owners please read

I am encountering a problem that I don't know how to resolve. The Crown has a 60 cm long unsupported barrel that is held in the receiver by two set screws. I am experiencing a small POI change if I pick up the gun by the barrel. Out of habit I often stand the gun up siting on the butt and...

"O" Ring Pet pieve (Ernest please read)

I have been a shooter my whole life, but I'm rather new to PCP. As a shooter, I continually played with my firearms, tuning them as required and reloading my ammo. This behavior is quite normal and I always kept a good amount of supplies on hand. When it comes to PCP weapons, "O" Rings are...

    Looking for a pellet loader.

I saw a video the other day testing a PCP pistol. It was a single shot pistol and the shooter was using a tubular hand held magazine with a button operated probe to insrt a pellet into the pistol breech. I have not seen one before but it looks like a good idea because handling pellets is always...
