    Finally cured the Bobcat

My .25 Bobcat MKII has been collecting dust for about a year, I had lost interest in shooting it, It just wasnt accurate at longer ranges. Yesterday, I decided to take it apart, removing the scope rail, I noticed the barrel was under tension from the rail (1mm) The more i thought about it, the...

    MK2 Bobcat mystery washer

Edit: The washer is there to keep the regulator from moving forward when the air reservoir is removed.

33.95 grain? Now thats funny (the .95 grain part)

Well, after going through about a 1000 pellets, the extreme spread is 2.4 grain, the main bulk is within a grain. I normally dont weigh my pellets, but im searching for the reason why im getting so many flyers (at 75-100m) with my MKII Bobcat. Lucky me, ive bought 3500 of them. edit: Just...

    Eurasian Jay

I thought you might like to see one of the species I hunt (with my .22LR Sako Quad, hunting is for powder burners only where i live) Like magpies, they breed like crazy if enough food is available and they dominate the area, not letting any small birds near the birdfeeder, robbing nests and...

    My weekend project: Mobile benchrest

My 100 yard shooting range is in the middle of a field, so i needed a mobile benchrest. The frame is all "recycled" steel i found here and there around the farm. The benchtop is made out of two layers of 20mm MDF, one layer inside the frame. Adjustable supports in all three corners to make it as...

Preferred pellet weight and velocity chart

I dont know if there would be interest in making this, but it certainly would be interesting to me. Perhaps it already exists somewhere? I was thinking something like this, divided in calibers, and then by velocity: edit: Viewing this on my iPhone, i see there is a problem with screen width 😊...

Javelin Bipod on my .25 Bobcat

Got some work done today, mounted my Javelin bipod with the gunsmith adapter. A 19mm milling bit and some JB Weld does the job :) I found some plastic caps at work as well, makes for a clean look when im not using the bipod.

    Scope height on Bobcat MK2?

Ive found that i need to get some really tall scope rings to get the cheek piece to feel right. Im straining my neck the way i have it now, trying to get my eye low enough. Is it just me (and my neanderthal shaped head), or is this just one of the sacrifices of having a bullpup?

Dealing with the pain of waiting

Ive ordered a .25 Bobcat MKII, and there is a small chance i MIGHT get it soon. My local gun dealer (in Norway) said they had only one rifle left in Sweden, and i might get that one, or i have to wait a couple of months. The pain, the pain.... I feel like im a child again XD
