HW/Weihrauch Installed an ARH Hornet kit in my HW85, and now it won't cock...?

FWIW, I put the ARH kit in my HW95. The HW95 had a piston liner with a thin SS washer in front of the spring, (no tophat), and a rear guide. I installed the ARH kit which had a tophat, spring and rear guide. I also reinstalled the thin SS washer in front of the ARH tophat. The cocking cycle...

HW/Weihrauch Matching caliber to rifle, Weihrauch style...

I prefer the .22 Calibur in my HW95 as it seems that I can load this size easier than a .177 but that is just me.

Tuning Who else enjoys breaking in their springers instead of tuning?

My 2018 year HW95L .22 needed a piston seal because of dieseling which was a result of over oiling/greasing at the Weihrauch factory maybe due to inexperienced folks because to the China Virus. Per info here and other air rifle forums I installed an ARH kit with a Vortek seal and GPL-205 lube...

    Hawke Warranty Experience?

My experience with Hawke has been excellent. Fast & accurate service when needed and I would rate them right up there with LL Bean, period.

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

I am 85 & have no problem cocking my 17 FPE HW95 which is equipped with a moderator. The cocking sound is absolutely silent until the piston latches in the trigger. I highly recommend the HW95L.

    HW/Weihrauch Decision Time - .20 HW77K vs .22 HW77

FWIW, I have never shot a .20 but at 85 trips around the Sun the .22 seems to me that it easier to load than the .177.

What springer did you shoot today?

HW95L .22 & about 50 shots at 25 yards, all seemed to be 1.5" to 2" groups from a table w/bags. Had to let the tree rats walk because of neighbors/wife.

    Garmin Chronograph

I use the https://www.caldwellshooting.com/range-gear/chronographs-and-wind-meters/ballistic-precision-chronograph/720001.html#start=1 chrono and just jot down the shot FPS #s as I don't even use the iPhone app anymore. I use an excel APP with my WIN 11 PC which gives all of the data I need...

    N/A Springer Accuracy?

I can sometimes shoot MOA at 25 yards BUT not always. This may help with MOA calc. One MOA Calculation (Note, MOA = minute of angle). This is how you can determine the one MOA for any target. Determine the distance or range to this target. Convert this number to inches or centimeters for...

    HW/Weihrauch Brake barrell

What the others have said & I only have experience with the HW95L .22 which IMHO is an excellent air rifle. I put in an ARH kit + Vortek seal with GPL-205 Krytox lube. My rifle averages about 17 FPE after almost 10K shots. My wife also enjoys shooting "OUR" rifle from the back deck...
