why go with such big and heavy scopes on a small and nimble gun as the wildcat ? personaly i would be going budget way i would have taken a hawke varmint sf in the size best suited . thet go in 3-12 , 4-14 6-24 .. all with 44 mm objective nice and clear , with half mill reticle...

personaly i would say that the 22lr is the one to go for if where you hunt is possible to use powder burners , simple as that ;) price wise .. comparing airgun to 22lr is somewhat unfair .. my 22lr hw bolt rifle cost me the same as my walther lgu :P pretty cheap when considering what you get...

when i did an eradication of rats on a farm i bought a couple years ago i used a 22lr. anyhow , the bait i found to realy get them going was a mix of some bread , olive oil , shrimps and nutella ... all in the mix and adding oil for right consistency to get it liquid enough for the rats to need...

i can not imagine it has any efect in regards to airguns , as there are a WHOLE LOT other things that afect the acuracy that are mutch more important . what i can imagion tho is that it has more impact on the larger cal air rifles ;)

im pretty shure the hw90 has the theoben gasram system that lets you adjust the power and thereby the force needed to coch the gun :)

unless you are shooting very very far distances (in airgun relation) like 130-200 meters with a lower power heavy pellet there are no need for the adjustable scope mounts . having had multiple hw100 with hawke sidewinders i have never had need for a droop compensting mount or adjustable mount ...

i would strongly sugest that you give that beautiful rifle (with top notch acsessories btw :) ) some different food (pellets lol) either h&N baracuda or jsb exact or exact heavy mutch less chance to get flyers with such pellets , and can allmost promise you a monumental improvement in grupe...
