I filed the edges of a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite fiber optic low 0.365 sight at about 60 degrees until it fit in the Steyr’s channel (will apply touch up paint later). The M3x8 screw I got from Fastenal seems to be the best length with that sight.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark404. That is likely the easiest/best option. I'm a little surprised there seemingly isn't a fiber optic option available. On my 1911s I slightly prefer the gold dot front sights to the tritium front sights.

Does anyone know of fiber optic sights that will fit/work on a Steyr LP50? Using the all black sights is becoming more difficult for my father so I’d like to hear about options others found and like. He wants to keep open sights, so red dots aren’t an option. Thanks.

The Steyr LP50 HP Compact provides 5 shots of precision. I prefer the adjustable grips that lock your hand in more, but quite a few people like the ambi grip that’s available.

I wish Steyr would come out with a .22 version of their LP50 HP Compact. I’ve started sending some companies product suggestions.

I have this NF and love it but it hasn’t left my rifles that are effective past 500yds. If you get one for your PCP let us know how you like the pairing.

If you buy 4 tins from AoA they give you a free 5th tin. So with that, no customs, and half the cost of Krale’s shipping you’re better off buying from AoA.

MK2 works best in my Impact.
