    Yong Heng cooling help.....

Ice in direct contact with your coolant water is more effective than ice contained in water bottles.

    Ammo storage

Snap on lid so no more spilling a tin when picking it up and the lid slips off. (y) I use fishing line reel holders for my range bag. Pellet tins fit perfectly. I label the edge of the tin with a sharpie and good to go.

    Yong Heng compressor cooling mods

Have you noted a few baseline run time vs temperature for your YH before making mods to it?

    Acecare tank and valve question.

Did you fully open the valve? The valve on my Acecare tank requires two or three full rotations to open fully. A partial rotation of the handle (on mine) will crack the valve open ever so slightly and will restrict the flow of air for a slow fill. I like that it works in this fashion for...

Water Cooling - Order of things

Make sure that the water flow is in at the bottom of the YH cylinder and out at the top. This will help keep any air bubbles from getting trapped inside. If you are making it a closed loop system a bit of Water Wetter will help keep the water from getting "funky".

What will be your last, air rifle acquisition ?

WHO KNOWS?? I certainly don't. I may already have it. I might see a new "must have" the next time I peruse AGN. Airguns can be like Pringles chips "once you pop you can't stop".

    New Yong Heng question

At around 12 hours run time I replaced the high pressure rings on my Yong Heng (replaced low pressure and high pressure piston assembly with improved parts). After reassembly it was heating up quickly and running hotter than normal. I did lightly lube the cylinder walls during reassembly but I...

I like the looks but 100% would rather have a Royale 400.

FX Still Enjoying My FX Royale 400! What Are You Shooting?

Ahhh, the FX Royale. The Royale was my "dream gun" for the longest time. Could not afford one then and over the years the latest and greatest eventually got my money. Seeing yours in that laminate stock brings back the "Royale longing" all over again. Enjoy that beautiful rifle.

FX Does anyone have a 10% coupon for any dealer that would apply to fx Airgun?

Just bought an FX power plenum and magazine using Bullseye Bucks. The majority of those points came from the purchase of my Maverick.

FX Does anyone have a 10% coupon for any dealer that would apply to fx Airgun?

Sorry to say but you will not find any discount codes on FX products. Fx does not allow thier dealers to offer discounts. You can buy from a dealer that offers a reward points system (like PA's bullseye bucks) and apply those point to a future FX purchase. But no discounts on FX.

Avenge-X Giveaway. What is your caliber choice?

I'm thinking .22. I've got .25 covered but I'd like a bottle fed .22 that is capable of more fpe and shots per fill than my R10. The R10 is the girl you take to the prom; looking for a girl to take camping.

    HALO ARE OUT!!!!

I am going to make a couple of assumptions here (yeah, I know the saying about assuming things): - You will need a new barrel liner to get the most out of the Halos - The new barrel liner will most likely be only "OK" for pellets. (Thus making pellets obsolete. Lol) - The Halos will be a bit...

    Pellet traps

I have used rubber mulch traps for a few years now. I built boxes out of plywood with a cardboard target front to hold the mulch but a cardboard box would work just as well (lighter but not quite as sturdy). I have had no issues with pellets or pellet pieces not getting trapped in the mulch...

    N/A True slug gun

Maybe it is a case of the versatility of what an air gun can shoot is far more desirable than a singularly dedicated gun. But I believe that we do have slug guns. Yes, you have to tune and experiment to find the right combination but look at the firearms industry for comparison. They have...

FX Air Rifle Pellets .25 Cal, 33.95 Grains, Domed

My understanding is that FX 33.9's are "the same" as JSB MKII's. The difference is that FX owns the dies that their pellets are made in. Therefore FX controls how long the dies are used before getting swapped out.

    gun cabinet with storage

Ya know, the more I think about it the more I like the idea of the hinged doors on Beerthief's cabinet. It would have that "Voila!" factor when you open it. ;)

I assume you have a nice cart for your compressor also. I KNOW you're not hand pumping that M3. Lol

    gun cabinet with storage

It would be a nice gun cabinet. I would make one change. If the sides slid out instead of hinge open it would save a lot of space. Maybe something like this: The slide out rack could be made more narrow.
