Per @markhooper the CS4 is a cheap knockoff of the Omega Trail Charger, but per @MACTEN GX makes the Omega Trail Charger. So, is GX making a cheap knock off of their own product? It's quite possible. Or is the Omega Trail Charger just an overpriced CS4?

You didn't do the test correctly. The test requires 250cc (could be 500cc, I don't recall) of water to be poured in as fast as the pump can handle it.

Or just use prediluted 50/50 Dex-Cool Antifreeze Coolant. Easy to obtain and inexpensive. A gallon should prove to be a lifetime supply.

Nope, there is no downside. The CS4 cooling system functions no different than a PC cooling system and contains dissimilar metals and other materials like PCs.

Actually, pure distilled water will leach minerals out of system and eventually galvanic corrosion will wreck havoc with dissimilar metals in the system. Use a coolant made for water cooled PCs or a car antifreeze that will be friendly with the materials in the loop.

Get some Thermaltake T1000. It's made for water cooled PCs. It contains anticorosives and antibacterial agents. Perfect for the GX CS4. Lots of colors to choose from.

Good point. I read through the thread and some are certainly experiencing issues. I thought it best to check the ones I have on my PCPs. I also have a couple of 1 pc Sportsmatch fully adjustables and a couple of 2 pc sets not in use. There is not a problem with any of them. What I have work fine...

I'm in agreement with @Mycapt65. Had them on all my springers, but have since gone totally PCP, except for a FWB 300s. I now use Sportsmatch Adjustable and Fully Adjustable mounts on all my PCPs.
