Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Welcome aboard. I think the fwb124 is well worth repair. I have a fwb124d myself that I bought in 1979. It is a tack driver. Probably one of the best "springers" ever made.

Want suggestions for lightweight performance PCP operable using one hand.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I've got enough info now to do some homework and perhaps find a dealer where I may be able to heft and handle. I probably should been plainer in discussing my limitations - I only have one arm, so weight and handiness (no pun intended) are issues for me. This...

    advice on purchase

Nothing wrong with a quality "springer". Bought my Beeman FWB124D in 1981 and still very usable today after many thousands of rounds Can't remember the listed cocking effort but it was not too bad. Totally self sufficent, no accessories needed except lube. Some merit to to comment about...

Want suggestions for lightweight performance PCP operable using one hand.

Want suggestions for lightweight performance PCP operable using one hand.

I have been a "springer" person since the late 70's, early 80''s - long before they were fashionable in this country. Had a Webley Hurricane pistol and still have my FWB 124D from 1981. Problem is, I can no longer use them. Too heavy and too much effort. Now use Crossman 2240 and 2300t with...

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

H8i all, Bill here, have always been fascinated with air guns. Thirty year Navy vet. Had a Crossman pump up when I was a kid that I used all the time. Bought a Marlin 22 cal. 39a (firearm) rifle in the mid 60''s and found I seldom got to use it. Was introduced to quality springers during a...
