Good idea. I use cheap reflectors on the plastic stick they sell at Lowe’s. I put them every 20 yards in my shooting food plot area for predator hunting. Not able to range at night. I like the idea of a wind flag on each one. I will steal that idea.
I have tuned mine pretty well but a 2 to 3 fps spread would be a dream for 3 shots but 5 i dont think 5 shots is possible at the higher power. Not for me at least. I’m happy with 3 decent shots as it’s a hunting gun.
i have the same rifle. Try the 350 grain botail hollow points from NSA. They are very accurate and crazy as it seems travel at almost the same speed as the 240gr. Im getting about 840fps with ‘em.
Try “Witt machine and tool company“ online website. I ordered one from them for my .457 Texan Carbine. They had to make special order and I received it in under 2 weeks. It works and fits perfectly. It also looks awesome. I got mine around Christmas time and there was a coupon code but it was...
After doing my research on this forum I finally made the purchase last night. Can’t wait to get it. I still have my Air Venturi 4500psi compressor and it still works good but it is getting older and I don’t ever want to be without air. So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted videos...
Thanks Michael. I think I will go with the 110 volt model. Speed is nice but my shooting grounds are 3.5 hours away and being able to bring it with me and use my inverter generator for power is the way to go. The video helped.
I have been on the fence for this compressor for a few months now. Just cant decide between this one and their 220volt model. It’s about $700 more but produces breathable air and supposedly will last longer. (IDK) Just not sure if the extra money and work installing a 220V outlet is worth it...
So I have had my .457 Airforce Texan Cabine with carbon fiber bottle and tx2 valve for a few years and love it. I love the weight and shorter size but it sounds like a cannon. So I bought a Donnyfl Emperor to tame it down. And it did quiet the beast down quite a bit but it is so freaking long...
He ran pretty hard so Im ”assuming“ you hit him but not solid. Probably grazed him good. He will be back. Hopefully next time he comes in we get some pics. Keep trying
I have a .457 Texan carbine with the carbon fiber bottle and tx2 valve. I use a Donnyfl to help with the excessive sound. When I am hunting I would like to keep it a short rifle and use an air stripper. My carbine is actually more accurate with the Donnyfl on it And hoping an air stripper could...
I bought the new top hat from airforce that can add more power. I also put in a heavy spring and new heavy hammer. Shoots very nice but I don’t think I can get 120 fpe especially with the shorter ss barrel.
