It's not caused by magnus effect. Even though most Rimfire and pellet twist to the right...the vertical effect is opposite. This is due to the placement of the center of pressure in relation to the center of gravity. Pellets have a fairly forward cg, while Rimfire is rearward. Mike

This is an array of 15 shot groups at 50y in medium wind. With a 210 shot sample...I think it's safe to say this is a .6 moa average gun. Actually, if I shot all 5 shot groups instead of 15 shots I bet the average would be in the .3s Mike

Yes, I have a barrel that can shoot monsters and my old style slugs extremely well. So one gun could do both. The catch is that I made a better shooting slug a little while later and it takes a different barrel. I actually haven't even tried pellets out of it yet. Mike
