I guess I need to find a permanent solution to the pellet problems I'm having with JSB.
Now, even the FX branded JSB's I ordered in .22 25.4 Are having issues.
Not so much with the skirt or head size.
But the cavity of the skirt measures 2.33 mm (new fx) and 3mm for the supposed same FX pellet I ordered a few months ago.
There is no indication when ordering or on the tin which version you are getting. I had issues with one of my .22's shooting the jts in this weight with a shallow depth, but the deep skirt FX's were spot on. I don't know what is happening over there but I think it's time to move on. After finding ton's of screwed up looking JSB's a few years back I went with the FX rebrand and was happy about the change.
I'll test them but I was hoping the FX rebrands would keep to the older styles as all the other jsb's now aren't actually the original redesigned pellets.

Send them back for a refund and also send JSB, the retailer you purchased from, and FX an email detailing the problem and your course of action. They need to directly hear about it and also feel the pain themselves in their pocket book (both the manufacturers and the retailers). If everyone had been doing this the entire time, they would likely have already been forced to fix the issues. Sadly, just venting about it on the forum and elsewhere does nothing by itself. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, but only if the guy holding the grease gets to hear it.

I shoot , 177 use stoeger x match.. but they are not made in .22 anymore.
The Norma target match is just as accurate. And verry consistent in mfg. And are available in .22.
And the RWS ",Hobby" is incredibly accurate as well.. not sure if that is of any help. And i was stunned at the accuracy of gamo redfire in both .177 and .22.
Unfortunately neither brand makes the heavier .22's. I also had good luck with H&N but they don't make them as heavy either.

They already know there is an issue and come to this forum as well I'm sure. The vendor has nothing to do with it and are doing their part IMO.

Your call. Just don’t expect anything to change until the chain of people making money from the sales feel it in their bottom line. That’s what drives the decision making and action. People complaining while the money keeps rolling in means nothing to them.

Get the AEA 25.3gr pellets you won't regret it. I shoot them out od my katran at 905fps and they will consistently hit baby iguana skulls at 60yds

I tried the JTS and have read they are likely the same pellet as the AEA. I may have to pick a tin up and see how they work!
I have not weighed them but the head sided are super consistent AND my 10 shot spreads have been immaculate shooting the 21.9gr pellets and the 25.3gr pellets. And I mean extreme spreads of 2 and SD of almost 2. A couple times I had the chrony read 940 7 consecutive times then go to 939 and then 940 and the 942. Best I've ever seen in any of my chrony numbers.

I was at the same place with JSB, tired of the crap shoot played every time I placed an order will this batch of 10.34s shoot the same as the last batch of 10.34s, what head sizes will they be , what will the weight variance be. I fought the urge to sort the JSB's I just didn't think you should have to do that to get a consistent size, and weight pellet.

I've purchased all offerings in .177 and .22 from AEA and JTS my guns like them all some a little more than other but they are all accurate and very consistent. Only time will tell if they can keep the consistency the have now but until that drops off my search is over.

And yes if JTS and AEA weren't made in the same factory I would be shocked.

Yep, thats not an AEA website it is a Wolfiek group website that was setup long before the AEA branded pellets came out.

The Wolfiek group looks like a reseller ( from Spain ) of many different airgun related brands AEA being one. They have a website for each airgun brand and advertise JSB pellets with those brands also.

If you look closely to the pellet that are advertised on that site you will not see the AEA branded pellets but you will see the JSB brand pellets and jsb rebrands.
