Double Oil/Water Filters

So today being My first day with a PCP Rifle, I was wondering if using 2 inline Filters will hurt or Hinder? I purchased one of those "Chiwanese" pumps and it has one small filter on it. By adding a second will it damage the Pump? I don't want to mess anything up. What say you folks that have been doing this a while? Thanks in advance.

More specifics needed on compressor, several versions of electric ones out there, some better at managing filters than others. WM

It is a Small VEVOR from Amazon. The short hose it came with has a very small filter with extra cartridges, So I just bought another inline with a 20" hose extension? Supposedly 4500 PSI/30Mpa/300Bar. Can run on 12vDC 110-220 AC.

Cotton-filled filters are better than no filters at all. Adding a larger (4-5 inch) one with "tampon" size cotton insert is popular for the 12vDC 110-220 AC oil-less, waterless, high-speed fan cooled compressors and is often recommended for humid operating conditions by manufacturer. WM

Bear in mind that the more filter(s) you add, the more "wasted air space" you will have to fill before the air ever gets to your gun, and will likely not reduce the moisture a significant amount.

There are probably very few compressor owners here who DON'T run more than one filter. We're hydrophobic!

But, as said above, the compressor will spend a bit more time equalizing the extra filters. Not a problem for ME. I like the added security of a 2nd moisture filter.
