Hawke Warranty Experience?

Anyone have any experience with Hawke USA service center? Both my compacts side focus wheel no longer functions correctly and have contacted service center by email to receive return shipping # as their web page instructs but have heard nothing....needless to say disappointed in both the product and their slow or non response!

Sure, Every hawke scope I've tried had to be sent in for warranty. After the original SR6, SR12 hawke designed by Nick Jenkins(sp)? with Japan glass came out a had dozen folks from the club grabbed one and within 1 year on the market everyone agreed, Hawke warranties more scopes than anyone!
Just returned a newer (and less costly) NIB hawke last month. Front A/O would NOT turn. Used the online , they responded within 2 day's and I had a new (Defective) scope in my hands w/in 2 weeks. Not a bad turn around time. Not that I know what this second dead on arrival scope is worth but the return was easy.

Best of luck.

note: on the replacement the ONLY change in focus is from 400-450 yards. Not too sure I want to mail it back again on my dime, likely better to just buy a different brand.

And, has been some SEVERE Weather in their area in the last 1-2 weeks.

I had an Airmax 3-12 with front AO adjustment that was so stiff, I had to come off the scope to adjust it. That was my only Hawke experience.

Only had one warranty claim with Hawke.

One of the best customer service experiences I've every had. Sent the email saying something was wrong, shipped the scope back. About 5 days later got an email from a repair saying something was indeed defective and they'd be shipping a new one out.

2 days after that I had a brand new scope.

Like we all said when they had been out 1 year. "They DO warranty scopes! " (joke eh?) And they do it fast and easy. Personally think the front A/O are the most problems and shipping doesn't seem as costly if you spent $500 on it , it's just for the bottom dollar scopes at some point you need to cut your losses.
Great fast service tho no matter. I like their ( here you go a new one in 5 day's) warranty much better than Bushnell.

Im pretty lucky as I live just 25 miles from their USA world headquarters. I started out using their scopes on my Crossbow. A big wide Excalibur 380 Matrix and a 405 Matrix. both used the XB30 Pro scope. Flawless! Until I dropped the bow once and bent the eyepiece down. They didn't even ask what happened. Took it to them and 10 minutes later walked out with a brand new scope!

I now have an old 2.5-12x44 SF on my Crosman pumper, and 2/ 4-15X50 Air Max SF IR scopes on my Diana Springers, a .22 ca. 54 T06 AKP and a .177 cal. 34 T05. They have been flawless. But the one on the 34 seems to be tight with the adjustments and SF. But it works properly so I may just keep it. If I want I'm sure they would exchange it. But if aint broke, I'll put up with the stiffer adjustments.
