My .30 cal Red Panda Bench (RPB) is on the way and I wanted to get a thread going to share my setup and test results. The first shipment of .30 cal Benchrest guns are currently available and a shipment of PRS models are expected to arrive in about a month. I will also be snagging a PRS gun in .22 cal. I will report back in a few days when it arrives.

It will be interesting to see how well the Chinese barrel will compare against Thayne’s custom barrel.

i wonder what their process is for selecting barrels for the Red Panda at $2350 as compared to the EQ model which is said to be under $1000?

Your .30 cal should be with a pellet barrel only. I wonder when the slug barrels will be available?

They should have parts available in a few weeks

My RP showed up over the weekend. Got a scope mounted and cleaned the barrel. I will shoot it on Friday and give an update.

Wow! That looks every bit of 18lbs they said it is. Looks like a great bench gun out of box!

I'm amazed at all the different designs in the pursuit off accuracy . I think a dedicated bench , pellet or slug , gun would be fun .

I will have a slug barrel as soon as they are available and can do a step by step video or something.

The RP uses a solid heavy barrel, the EQ looks like it uses a liner and shroud similar to the FX Impact.

That is a serious looking air rifle designed for benchrest shooting. I hope you are able to shoot "one-hole" shots all day long
