Clearidge scopes are suppose to be a nice and most of them are very light. Also check out the Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32, it's another compact lightweight scope. I had both the Burris and Leupold EFR and if I recall the Burris reticle was slightly thicker. Never tried a Clearidge myself...

I think they are the same. As far as I know you can only get the 3-9x33 EFR with a duplex reticle unless you buy it and send it to Leupold's custom shop. I would just ask the seller to send you a picture of the reticle. It is an awesome little scope, the only thing I didn't like about it was...
