It always makes me laugh when you tubers or other folks on forums refer to a $500 scope as "budget"... I know that you get what you pay for, but you also have to stay in your lane... I ain't throwing a Nightforce scope on an Avenger... Blackhound, Arken, yes... UTG, West Hunter at the bottom...

The new Arken light weight 30mm tube scopes have peeked my interest, especiallywith the 25% off right now. Might be worth a look.

I have 2 Genesis 6-24x50 mil scopes and they are ok. They seem to track well. The glass is similar to my Arken SH4 Gen 2 6-24x50. The side focus range marks are off by a little bit, so using that to range is a no go, imo... Overall I feel like they are a decent scope for the money when...

My Avenger shoots a variety if slugs well... It's favorite are the Zan 13gr followed closely by the Zan 10.5gr. It also shoots the JSB KO 10 and 13 gr decent. NSA 12.5 and 15 are ok...

My DAR Gen 2 shoots the 13.43 gr JSB's @ 840 like a lazer to 50 yards. My Avenger is set up to shoot ZAN 13 gr slugs @ 905 and I have smacked P-dogs out to 80 yards with it.

DAR/Aim Sports had a good thing going with the Gen 2 rifles, but it went downhill fast and now the company is a joke... I am the proud (ha) owner of all three calibers of the DAR Gen 2, and luckily all three are shooters. They were all tuned too hot out of the factory but I was able to tinker...

Have you checked the barrel set screws? Take the baffles out of the end to make sure there is no clipping. Send me a pm with your address and I will send you some Monsters.

Try some heavier pellets. My .177 DAR Gen 2 loves 13.44 gr JSB Monsters.(not redesigned) It came from the factory shooting way too got for lighter pellets and would sling them all over the place. I lowered the reg pressure and trimmed the hammer spring back a bit so that I could shoot 10gr...

My Avenger likes both the 10 and 13 gr. I also have the 16gr but haven't tried them yet. The 13's hit really hard @ 22ftlbs muzzle energy.
