Here she is, one of the nicest PCP rifles on the market today - Daystate Red Wolf Safari High Power .25 caliber. I will try and make this post as detailed as possible to answer any of the normal questions. I bough this rifle from AOA in December 2019. It has been absolutely babied and...

    FX Hybrid Slugs .30 BC

Let me see what I can do with the power wheel in getting the velocity down to that and I’d be happy to. The labradar makes testing BC pretty painless since you can collect velocity data points from 5 different yardages out to 100. After that I confirm with the actual drop.

    FX Hybrid Slugs .30 BC

I just got done doing some testing on those using a Labradar Chronograph and confirmed drops out to 200 yards and landed on a .092 BC with a muzzle velocity of 960. The claimed .101 or whatever was a bit generous, but very close.

any daystate owners with Electronic guns please give input

I had a .22 Airwolf MCT that took more doves and small game than any weapon I have ever owned. 10’s of thousands of pellets and never a single issue except a bad o-ring that was easily replaced. I sold that rifle to an airgunner here on the forum and as far as I know, it continues to kick...

    Would Rather See Lighter Rifles.

Looks like I’m definitely in the minority here but I prefer well balanced, durable rifles in the 10-12lb range. I find it much more difficult to shoot the light rifles accurately off hand and struck out on the couple “light” rifles I did own. The nature of the design limits shaving too much...

What is acceptable accuracy at 30 yards? Am I expecting too much?

Scopes have been mentioned a couple times in here. I’ve had several Daystates and all were capable of ragged one hole groups at 25 yards. Being an unregulated rifle shouldn’t make any difference that close. One thing to check is the parallax on your scope. Make sure you are paying attention...

What is wrong with my Vulcan 2?

Try different ammo. The JSB Hades hasn’t grouped consistently well In any Airgun I own. If you have another pellet you can use like the 18.1 exact jumbos, I would use those to narrow down the issue if there is one.

Need Help....Daystate Redwolf Safari or FX Crown Continuum .22 cal?

I must be the only one who has never had accuracy issues when magazine feeding any of my Daystate Rifles. The .25 Safari I currently own is equally as accurate with the magazine and the single shot tray. Occasionally I’ll have a flyer that I can only explain as a bad pellet. I don’t wash...

optimal fps for 34 gr jsb

My DS Safari slings em at 954 average on high power. Scary accurate at that speed.

Least problematic PCP rifle you have owned

My AZ tuned Theoben Rapid .25. Several years of ownership and 10’s of thousands of rounds and never so much as a snivel.

What was your most accurate gun out of the box?

Most accurate rifle I ever owned was a Daystate Airwolf MCT .22, most accurate rifle I currently own is a Redwolf Safari .25. The MCT would stack 18.1 JSB’s into a dime all day, every day at 50 yards. At 100 it would group between 1 and 1.25”. My current Safari shoots maybe nickel sizes...

    Impact or Red Wolf

My current go to is a .25 Safari. It’s outright amazing. I hunted a ton with it and it’s length never bothered me.... then again I’m used to hunting with 28-30” barreled scatterguns and 24-26” centerfires. btw... I did own a Impact... sold it after a few months.

    Daystate Safari or FX Crown

This is how I see it also.... the “bells and whistles” on the Crown are just a pain in the ass and something else to fuss with for me. The Daystate electronic platform is incredibly simple and robust. You rarely hear about an electronic Daystate with problems stemming from the actual electronics...

    Daystate Safari or FX Crown

I owned a Crown for a couple months. I have my opinions on the platform which I’ve aired in other threads. I prefer the Safari which is what I have now. A couple things that should be taken into account with your decision... do you want to tinker and tune your rifle? So you want the ability to...
