    Killing armadillos with a .177

I've never shot an armadillo although I've seen several while out deer hunting ( with a firearm ) and it seems they are causing problems at my cousin's ranch. I have killed lots of mice with a .177 Marauder so shot placement isn't the issue just wondering if the .177 is enough or do I need to...

    Killing armadillos with a .177

Any one here kill armadillos with a PCP pellet rifle? Is .177 caliber ( say an RWS Supermag 9.3 grain at about 900 ft/sec ) adequate and are they hard to kill?

This Is BS If It's True

Seems liberals have adopted a new strategy threatening advertisers. I've seen it on the cable channels to get Conservative shows removed and now apparently on You Tube as well. One thing I've wondered is why the names of these advertisers who are threatening to or are pulling their sponsorship...

Need advice installing a HUMA regulator

All the HUMA regulators have a headless allen set screw in the center threaded hole except for the regulators made for Benjamin Marauders according to Jeff at Trenier Outdoors where I bought my regulator. The Marauders have an allen headed screw so that a string can be attached for removal. I...

Need advice installing a HUMA regulator

But when you tear the rifle down later does it look like the screw has moved ? I'm wondering why they ( HUMA) drill and tap the hole for the screw at all, why not just drill a tiny orifice hole to begin with. If the tapped hole is already there why not fill it with a screw with an orifice hole...

Need advice installing a HUMA regulator

I purchased a HUMA regulator for my .22 caliber gen 1 marauder but before I install it I have a couple of questions. First the small screw in the front of the regulator is there to slow the refill rate and is supposed to be left two turns out but seems loose to me and likely to vibrate out. ...

    Cheap Target Holders

Old political signs have been a source of target holders, targets and backers for me for years. Don't take them from people's yards without permission but often they are illegally placed on public property; check your local laws. Something else you will probably find is that the law requires...

To tune or not to tune

If you are a DIY kinda guy and want to be able to change and repair your own gun then a Marauder is the way to go. If not then the more expensive gun is the way to go. Know thyself !! :)

Planning to buy night vision. Need some advice

Have you looked at the ATN X Sight ? I have the 3 - 14X and it works great day or night. I can spot field mice at 50 yards with the included IR light so shooting them at the ranges you mention will be fine. You must however buy the extended power supply or set up one for yourself for any...

So now I have a rat problem... Which pellet gun should I go with? Nv or maybe IR

You need to find out what is drawing the rats to your yard...what are they eating? The world has an endless supply of rats and although it is fun to shoot them you cannot eliminate them that way if something continues to draw them to your yard.

Crosman will NOT be releasing a new Mrod with a regulator inside

Guess we will have to buy our own regulators and not be able to turn them on and off !! :)

    Air dryers for hand pump

I have the air drier on my Hill pump and the beads, supplied by Hill, never seem to change color (they remain white). Not sure if the air in my house is that dry or if the beads just aren't removing any water. I have had to recharge (dry) the beads on my shoebox which are different purple...

    .

I did up grade my scope yesterday to the new firmware and no new reticle. I find reticle #5 to be too small between the lines for my liking but have used #7 occasionally but not enough lines ! Maybe if we all started suggesting this to ATN they would take notice. I think they are fixated on...

    ATN X-Sight II Illuminator

Found the answer !!! :) The batteries were low. For others information the illuminator worked just fine out to 50 yards but I could see no difference when I turned up the power to the second and third level. I took the batteries out and tried them in my Surefire visible light flashlight and...
