I love the show How It's Made, perhaps because it is my job, designing and making stuff. It's funny that they made a small mistake ; They call it ammo, while paintballs are clearly targets. 

FFP is a great feature, but it adds weight, as does a 30 mm tube. And I have to say, 24 oz is pretty heavy for a 4-14 scope. If you want a light scope, look for a 1" scope tube without FFP (unfortunately). For example, I like the Hawke Panorama 4-12x40 AO mil dot, at 17.3 oz. There are sure to...

Isn't that only applicable in a level that you use in either orientation? The scope level will only ever be used in the orientation it is mounted, so as long as that orientation is verified to be accurate, all is good, right?

I have not used that one, sorry. I prefer "comma" scope side wheels, because they are smaller; only the side of the wheel that you use for ranging. Wicked Air Rifles has a nice one for $85 (second image).


I was thinking the same thing. Besides thinner paddles, you could add a paddle arm above the hinge point and attach an almost-balancing paddle (slightly lighter), making it very easy to spin.

+1 Can you show us an area of the rubber that was pummeled by pellets in the same spot? 

Barrel: Edit: Crown Saver (thank you linsfreak) or Patch Worm. I use the Crown Saver. Rest of the gun: Uhh... a clean rag and some Rem oil?
