Thanks for all the addition replies everyone. Still can't make up my mind on either the FX Wildcat or the Impact? Have all the issues with FX impact really gone away or is it hit and miss with the Impact? Patrick.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your reply.. Maybe I did not explain properly but this is not my first airgun and I'm not new to this hobby. I just feel I'm ready to move up to a better airgun with more power for target shooting and to thin out the squire population on my property. Patrick
