The 9/16" head on the tool looked wrong. Off to the mill, now it has a 7/16" head and a cross hole for a rod.

Too late, made one last night. Bout an hour on the lathe.

Thanks for the info gents! I've read enough to know that I am not going the hand pump route. I will be in search of a 4K psi dive tank as I would like to shoot the gun more with less trips to a dive shop. At this point I don't have any thoughts about getting to the point of refilling my tank...
