I think even the factory laminates are far more attractive than the plain beech stocks typically seen...even more attractive than the plain jane walnut. And I agree they are likely more stable, but it takes a better shooter than me to discern the difference.

To answer the other part of your question: Whatever you currently have to use and store breathing air will also work just fine with nitrogen. That said, if you're planning to use the booster pump to move nitrogen into your great white tank when it drops below 200bar or whatever your needs are...
