I need to mow the pasture. If you want, you can bring it and see if it passes the bush hog test.

All you FT gurus, how do you set up a "range tape" when it's windy all the time?

This is a chart that shows wind effect on poi for different directions of wind ( for right hand twist barrels). It’s a good rule of thumb to get a general idea of the effect wind has assuming it’s the same direction for the entire flight path, which it often isn’t. Of course nothing beats...

Special thanks to JW Rhea and Edgunwest

Dodge3500, I can find nothing that says German glass other than on Ed’s site. He sells a lot of them and talks to whoever he gets them from, so I’d suggest a call to him if you want to know more. I do know the lenses are closer to a high end scope than a cheaper one judging from the clarity and...

It’s second focal plane. Rectical size stays the same at all magnifications. Also side wheels are available for it but Ed doesn’t have them at this time as far as I know. They can be ordered from mfg.

Special thanks to JW Rhea and Edgunwest

I just got the scope Joe recommended to me from Edgunwest. After centering the turrets travel it was perfectly optically centered. After mounting it was easy to sight in. Tracks great just like Joe said and I’m very impressed with it especially for the price. Seems to be very well built and I’d...

    And ideas?

I use an old cast iron cornbread making pan, the one that makes cornbread the shape of, and looks like corn on the cob, to make ingots to store lead until casting into something. Makes it stackable and just pop a couple in melter when needed.

    Do you pest control?

One way to improve chances is let farmer/rancher know you always leave gates the way you find them, whether open or closed. Also you don’t drive on roads when wet in order not to rut them up. Offer to pick up cans or trash others may have left and carry your own out of course. By showing you...

    Easy Gunstock Refinishing

Davemac18, Epoxy the break and wrap with surgical tubing streching it tightly around area two or three layers thick, it will clamp the area evenly and not let it move while drying. Then get brass pins and drill bit from brownell’s. They have 2 different diameters to choose from. Drill a couple...

Help - Remove Crosman's Plastic Muzzle Brake?

Mine was well used when I got it, all scarred up, ugly. Will add muzzle weight and hopefully find sweet spot to lock it down there

Help - Remove Crosman's Plastic Muzzle Brake?

I’ve removed one. Heated the plastic with a heat gun. Doesn’t take much heat, I could still use bare hand. It slid off without too much effort reheating if it stopped moving.

RWS TO6 34, front sight removal?

One horizontal set screw at rear of hood removes the hooded fiber optic from ramp. Vertical sets crew removed ramp which slides off end of barrel. There’s a bevel cut into end of Barrel to keep ramp in the right orientation so ramp won’t turn if you twist it. Once ramp screw is loosened or...
