N/A Who is Ahead in PCP Air gun Technology?

Rather like original thought, not likely anymore. Maybe the hammerless rifles (Huben) come close to new innovation? John

    Crosman Auto Air 2

No. But if you happen to be an ebay person (I know nothing) there are a few still in box/claimshell & used -seems not a good idea?- there. Not for nothin, I sold off a number of 70' new in the box (untouched) crosman pistols for a friend and it seems all was fine. Used I too might think...

    STO Big Bore moderators

Accident, lowball bid & not much use for huh. Trade ya different rig you likely not much use for, as new DAQ .452 pistol. Well a poor boy has to try (and the misses liked her old bulldog, opps almost in the doghouse over that one). John

    AEA AEA HPSS

Ppsiumps vary slightly. Have filled a Career Uttra many times. 490cc from zero to 3,000psi , an even 500 strokes (not counting bleeding & pressurizing the fill hose every 60 strokes. Pumping is very easy, technique is Everything, dont use your arms, pull handle all the way up, back...

    Other Valve disassembly, orings?

Yes um, QB. I cant see it too well but your valve stem doesn't look Too good? Possible mick or dent at 10:00 (and as old as the rest) that may well not burnish out. Might want to source a new one. Last I knew Mountain Air sold nice nylon (other?) valve stem for them. Also give it a little...

I like reading Hector Medina,he is very knowledgeable in his domain.

Hector is a nice guy (with funny shoes) to shoot with or talk to. Ask me how I know (no , on second thought dont). Things in the airgun world used to be different. Everyone knew everyone - one way or another- , your word was your bond ...... . Just because YOU don't recall history does not...

    AEA Megalodon or MegaloDON'T ?

Likely just me but for (no need or desire for tacticool here) I would grab a DAQ .45 or .58 for the same money. Yes a single shot but such a nice traditional kit. Every part made & finished by Dennis including the single cut rifling barrel. About the same price. John

Hatsan I just picked up a 30 caliber brake barrel 130s carnivore cheap but it doesn't fire break the barrel pull the trigger nothing happens looking to get

Shucks. That will make it a bit more hazardous to work on. Dry fire isnt good and loaded is dangerous , your call. Surf up "adjusting hatsan quattro trigger" , lot's of diagrams, video's .... . Post up when you get it fixed. John

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Excellent choice, both the rifle and having Mike tune it! Now if pistol appeal at all The one (for a springer shooter not wanting to invest in air source.... ) is the crosman 1701P . Under priced for what you get, actually Very easy to fill with a $50 hand pump, only downside is every time...

Is it cocked? If cocked barrel will have no resistance when re-cocking. IF it take normal (lot's of) effort to break the barrel it is not latching. Perhaps check the trigger adjustment. While be careful. John
