I thought vertical stringing was due to inconsistent velocities (assuming the problem isn’t with the shooter). 

Your not controlling the harmonics of this rifle consistently during the shot (recoil) it’s jumping around on you (even off a rest), that’s why you are suffering from poor accuracy. With enough practice and consistent control (hold and trigger) you should be able to stack pellets at 30 yards...


They were actually selling the remaining ones they had on hand in .22 and .25. I would have bought one if I had the money.

If you have a Lowe’s or Home Depot around, “cirtistrip” will take all that spray stain off easily. Wipe with acetone afterwards and you will be down to bare natural wood. The whole process will take about an hour.

The barrel breaks loose when you shoot? or does it break when you drop the front end on a rest to shoot?

Yeah you dry fired it. You have to be careful when you load and close the barrel. If you hold it with the barrel pointing up in the air, the pellet can fall out without you noticing when you close it.

I just started another project this morning....refinishing the stock on my Benjamin Trail XL .25. I told the wife that these projects give my life purpose and she says “if you need purpose, I can give you a lot of projects”...it didn’t go over like I planned LOL.
