Ok, so FX is now giving folks, at no extra cost, a little bit of intrigue and problem solving.

Think for a bit, is 50 yards your forever maximum? If you have an inkling of 100+ yards you CAN do it with a short barrel but you're better off with another 100mm, to 600mm, more speed and better accuracy. Less air to achieve those speeds.

It's hit and miss on which ones work. Nice effort though.

Both the AEA .25 Slugs 30.2gr and Pellets 33.9gr work great in both my Maverick VP and Raptor. The Raptor will shoot the AEA heavier slugs 49.2 but, no need and it sounds like it's really stressing the gun more than I like and sucks air like crazy.

Personally, 1 Minute of Squirrel at 100 yards is my standard. Nothing personal but I wouldn't be thrilled with that pattern. Perhaps a slightly different tune?

I'm agreeing with Motorhead 100% on the Bar Oil. You want a lubricant that well, lubricates without dispersion or adverse effects to the materials of the 0-ring. A good synthetic, I just happen to have Mobile One laying around. I use it in my shops machines, high speed embroidery machines...
