I'm getting pellets from various mfg's and they all have a different 'feel' to touch. On the JSB's I can see the graphite, others just leave a sample of the coating on my fingers. I leave them as they are and expect change if I switch pellet brand. I only clean my barrels when the POI starts...

You just inspired me to try that pellet pen with my 1377. Yes, it works just fine. Even the stubborn wad cutters fall right in! Thanks for the idea.
