Do Pellets with BB Tips exist on the market?

The only advantage I can see to that is if you are plinking at glass and plastic and other smashable objects in your junkyard. The steel BB will have much higher pressures at point of impact before deforming. For game, a simple domed pellet is quite adequate. Feinwerk

EDgun Got my Leshiy back, .22 or .25?

I have the 350 mm barrel in mine, and I settled on the .22 JSB 14.3 grain at 865 FPS with factory reg settings. This pellet gives good accuracy and shot count at that speed. I found the 0.25 to be too slow and the accuracy was very subject to hold and follow through until the pellet exited the...

    EDgun Leshiy classic problems

UPDATE: Here are links to three geat videos on maintenance and disassembly of the Leshiy classic by Ed himself, the inventor. YouTube says that they are unlisted. I bookmarked them a long time ago. I guess the only way to find them now is to have someone give you the links. Regards, Feinwerk

    EDgun Leshiy classic problems

@JaceSpace1369 , Oh that's weird. And a little scary that you removed the entire screw with bearing from a charged reservoir. Something you don't normally want to ever do for fear of shooting your eye out kid lol. Sounds like you have some serious contamination or debris plugging the bleed hole.

    N/A Pressure and Accuracy

If you are using a shroud, you could experiment with adding vent holes in your shroud back near where the barrel meets the receiver. Some of my rifles have this and I assume it's for helping to strip air from behind the projectile as it expands backwards from the baffle area into the shroud. My...

N/A Recommendations for small/light pest gun?

I can't think of anything better for your intended pesting use, as you've already got a well-made classic plinking/light pesting rifle. Assuming that you were just using the iron sights now, one thing that might make it better is a red dot/holographic type sight. You can choose a model that...

HW/Weihrauch My old 55 still has it

@JohnL57 , There is a classic air rifle for sure. I remember reading about these in the newsletters from Air Rifle Headquarters back in the '70s, written by Robert Law. I could never afford one of those back then and would get all dreamy eyed wishing I could have one and envious of the pictures...

RTI Prophet I Problem: Loud POP!! and Pellets scattered out of the magazine?!? ➠ What happened?

Agree with the others, it sure sounds like you lost a seal somewhere in the breech area. Check your bolt and probe mechanism carefully and compare with your schematic diagram. Good luck , Feinwerk

@Pale_Rider , Congratulations on your rebuild. It's a nice to hear that you found information we posted to be helpful. It helps make that effort seem worthwhile when others benefit and report the results here . Your pistol is beautiful as configured. It's actually time to redo my own, my...

    Tuning Barrel bender tool

I had the opposite problem in my R1 after accidentally letting go of it and when it slammed shut the barrel bent upward a little bit. A C clamp andi a few blocks of wood should do the trick. Check out this picture from Tom Gaylord. This jig arrangement forces the bend right up the breech block...

Squeaky clean and I gained 15 FPS!

Nice, a lot of people like those. I made my own with a doubled over piece of .060 string trimmer line to form an eye and and a few bits of heat shrink tubing to bind everything together. I push it back from the muzzle to the breech and pull through standard cotton patches with ballistol...
