900 fps is more attractive to me as trying to shoot these heavy slugs at recommended speeds of upwards to 970 really puts a dent in your air supply. I’ll have to look into the Alteros Kings.

Yes, past 100, specifically at 135 yd my groups widened to 1.5” Im curious about the Alteros 40’s out past 100.

Trying these Ace 40.1’s in my SKOUT Evo/LW .22 Shooting at around 945 fps. The furthest outlier at 100 was the first shot. The other 4 settled in for a tighter group. Total group shot was 5/8” So far so good with these slugs. Alteros look interesting.

May be a dumb question but can you fill the CF tank on the EVO with the valve closed?

The thing about Skout is, they will bend over backwards to help you and send out free parts and handle shipping etc...I get them the next day. I don't remember FX doing that back in the day. Of course we worked through the US distributor at that time, not naming names.

SKOUT sent me an upgrade brass part that replaces the filter in the reg. Keith of SKOUT said that imperfections in the filter was messing up the oring in the MKE-103.

Dry firing in this case isn’t working. It has in the past but not this time. Also I can’t get up to 3000psi to try and seat things. Air is rush out as fast as it is going in. Question: Can you fill the tank with valve closed?
