I use silicone spray on the wire before I load it into the press. It helps to remove the slug when done. Also as you use the press the dies seem to wear in a little and make better slugs as you go.

I have a presslug that I have been using for a while. It makes the most accurate slugs for me so far. It is awesome that you can "tune" the slug to the gun instead of the other way around.

Presslug makes a press and dies from .177 up to .35 cal. Also I saw someone is making dies that don't require a press, you can use a hammer. I can't think of who it is right now.

It will be cheaper in the long run. It is fun to make your own slugs. And you can't beat the accuracy from custom made slugs for your gun. What I do is make several different weight slugs and try them out. Kinda like you do when you are reloading for a rifle. See what your gun likes the best...

I am shooting 68gr slugs that I make. I have them going around 920fps. They just stack. By far the best slugs for this gun.

Does anyone know how to get the ballistic chart to go out past 500 yards? I even used it on my 22 Creedmoor and it will only go out to 500 yards.
