Smith & Wesson Model 79G reseal

I just rebuilt my 79G. I used the urethane seals and coated them in Pellgun oil. More for ease of installation then long term protection of the seals. I installed the first kit then found the valve was leaking. Check the valve closely, there is a seal on it that does not come in rebuild kits.So...

    Daisy 1894

Plain 1894's range from a low of $25 mid of $75 to a high of $125 according to Blue book of Airguns. I have shot a few of them. They are fun. They are getting hard to come by. Check out the Daisy Forums if you want more info.

    Kinda neat,

You can easily make your own setup. Camera and transmitter are about $40, a small 6" monitor and receiver are about $50

    Fun targets

I got a tub of 1000 army men off amazon. They make great targets for low powered guns. The remington resettable animal steel targets are a great buy. Get the ones without the string reset.

Should I get Benjamin discovery or 392

I own a Disco .177 and get about 25 shots on a fill of air. Which is disappointing. I switched to bulk filling it with CO2. Get about 40 shots @700 fps. I really like the gun on CO2 but I live in a warm climate. I have owned multi pump guns and find them useless for me. Too much time between...

Taking a closer look at the future of air guns

Right now if it doesn't have AR-15 stamped on the side, its not under immediate threat. Airguns will become under threat when all guns in general get bans or restrictions. No one is going to go on a killing spree with an airgun. It's not "practical". An AR can be bought for under $500 and it...

    U.K. Shooter

the FAC is the same regardless if its an airgun or PB. Only shotguns require extra certification which you opt out of. Getting an FAC is a bunch of background checks, fees and a referee. Reading about it, it just seems like a hassle. I think for an FAC airgun you have to have land that is...

How to replace seals on Daisy 880 powerline?

If you keep it properly lubed, it will serve you well for many years. When and if it does start leaking, it maybe more wise to spend another $35 and buy a new 880.

Wow, I Got Rid of Many of My Airguns About 12+ Years Ago !

So my take away from your post is all your old guns perform poorly compared to your new stuff so your getting rid of them?

    U.K. Shooter

Nothing wrong with 12 ft/lbs. 18-20 is my preferred force I go for. I don't need more then that. Still needing an FAC on an airgun is pretty lame. Seems like just limiting the caliber below .25 would be adequate.

What to use as rust prevention if you can't find mp5 oil?

I got corrosion x at Academy sports. It's a major favorite with firearms. Shouldn't be hard to find.

What to use as rust prevention if you can't find mp5 oil?

Ballistol or remmington oil/lubricant. If your really desperate wd40. Ballistol makes a great pellet lube also and wood protector.

Have you ever had a pellet that was unbelievably inaccurate?

H&N always are delivered with the least amount of damage, are the best "looking" pellets but they seem to deliver "meh" performance. I try them when nothing else seems to be working and they usually disappoint. Not bad accuracy but there is usually a cheaper pellet that does just as good or...
