I see now that the threads are M16-1.5. I was originally misled in thinking the threading was 3/8. I suppose any crankcase breather would work if the right threading or with an adapter. I hesitate to buy the plastic one again because I worry it will just break again. Mine must have been flawed...

Would this work as a more robust solution? The crankcase oil is not going to be at 4500 psi, so the 150 psi limit seems reasonable. Amazon also carries a few cylindrical plastic ones for other brands of compressors: finding one with M16-1.5 threading is the tricky part. ...

Question: is this just for air guns or does their calculation app cover firearms as well? Given that it ranges out to 1,000 yards I'd suspect so but just wondering. This could be my 'go-to' ranger finder for plinking, hunting with air guns and firearms. Heck, I could get windage in the duck...
