Will this breathing tank be good enough to fill pcp air rifle

Which is why in my first post I said that depending on its age it will need a test. The op lives in the uk, there is zero chance he would be able to have that bottle charged without a test certificate is zero and even less of a chance of getting it charged if it doesn’t have working pressure and...

Will this breathing tank be good enough to fill pcp air rifle

It’s got bisley shooting products label on it. Also, it will either be 208bar or 300 bar. If 208 it can’t fit a 300bar din charging connector. The AAs410 has a recommended 190bar fill. The fact that it has breathing air written on it means nothing unless you actually intend to use it for...

Yep it’s fine but depending on age it may need a test Bb

    Tuning Does size matter (moderators)?

^^^ this^^^ Also .30 moderators tend to be enormous in an attempt to quieten things down because they use a lot of air. .177 are much more frugal so don’t need a moderator anywhere near as big to be effective. Bb

Tuning New Artemis p15 dropping fps

The reg may be letting by allowing full pressure in the block, this will make the valve more difficult for the hammer to knock it open. Shoot until the pressure drops to see if velocity increases Bb

    Delta and Aplha Wolf barrels

I am with you on this👍 I also don’t understand the fixation on power, more noise, more air, more expensive, more stress on components and you need to be much more mindful of where the slug lands in the event of a miss or pass through. How much power do you need to kill a sparrow, starling...

FX FX Airguns DRS Pro: How Significant is This Really?

The only guns I have ever had poi shift was an airarms s400 that had a barrel clamp, if knocked hard it could move but other than that, it would stay zeroed. The other was an fx impact, now that was plagued by poi shift EVERY time I took it out of the case, if I touched the shroud and even if I...

RAW Rapid RAW HM1000X Custom built inline plenum pics

Yep, bigger plenum allows for lower reg pressure, less hammer load and more gently firing cycle. Also as soon as the firing valve opens and the plenum pressure drops the reg opens and a tries to maintain set pressure until the firing valve shuts. The hole in the raw push pin disc is quite...

RAW Rapid RAW HM1000X Custom built inline plenum pics

They aren’t really needed for power but for increased shot count and lighter hammer load at the same power due to the lower reg pressure. I maxed out a raw .357 with a 81grn pellet at 960fps without a plenum but cocking effort was high and shot count was terrible. Agreed, I made one and didn’t...

AirMaks Arms Krait Lite .17 vs Quadrant on a Gloomy day

You are correct, a short fat moderator is not as effective as a longer version and .177 are less air efficient but with a custom moderator I can always get a .177 much quieter than a .22 due the holes in the baffles and endcap being smaller. Bb

FX FX Airguns DRS Pro: How Significant is This Really?

For no reason after a few dozen shots the gun goes bang and dumps all the air out of the barrel. Initially it was thought the reg pressure was too low so that was increased but it did exactly the same thing.

    ATS Raw Hm1000x power plenum

I made one years ago, I didn’t like the way it moved the weight further forward but that was before the availability of carbon buddy bottles.
